Is this normal on a scope?

    Both the Primary Arms 1-6x and the 4-14x have a screw at an angle like that. But the edge of the scope is beveled so it doesn't look odd.

        I always shim my scopes level to the rail or mount... that little nub would really irritate me.

              I agree with you on Simmons. However, as JMP noted, Bushnell makes some pretty good glass. You need to expand your optic universe beyond economy scopes...
