OP this might fit the bill. AD mounts are Gtg and so are the micros.

Thanks for all the input guys!

The one Dimitri posted looks pretty good too. I also like the fact he didnt just try to sell me the most expensive thing on his site.

If I do buy the Bushnell I would probably look for a mount other than the UTG and that would probably bring it closer to the price of the sight Dimitri posted.

I would do that only because I have read more negative than positive things about UTG. I'm sure many of their products are GTG and the mount is fine, but you hear enough negative stuff and you cant help but form an impression.

I personally would recommend the ADM mount combo for this application. It offers QD, and will hold zero better than a cheap QD mount. If QD isn't called for, then the PA thumbscrew riser mount will get you to 1/3 cw, and you can be done with it for $119.

Also, the bundle is $20 off the mount, not full price. Certainly not free, I'll grant you.
ADM mount combo at PA? I dont see it.

Yes, I understood where you saw Bobro, but the user you were chastising made no mention of mounts and was just giving his opinion on the actual red dot he has experience with.

You are correct though, they do give you $20 off the bundle. I saw the Bobro mounts as an option for $100 on the plain $100 red dot not realizing those mounts retail for $120.

Still I find it funny that you'd use an expensive mount on a cheap red dot. If you have the extra money to blow on a good mount, then get a good optic.

I guarantee you'll be happier and get more use from a higher quality optic and cheap "temporary" mount, than you would with a higher quality mount and cheap "temporary" optic.

If you're trying to save cash on a cheap red dot for the range, then get a cheap mount/red dot.

If you got cash to spend but don't want to break the bank, get an Aimpoint Pro and be done with it.. (The included Aimpoint mount is also fine, btw)

Just select the $100 pa red dot and select the ADM mount from the drop down menu.

Primary Arms features our own line of AR 15 and AK 47 parts, accessories, scopes, optics and red dot sights.

Thats what I figured, it shows out of stock unless you select an already bundled package.

              Bought this one...

There cant be too much difference between $100 sights. I like the idea of supporting a vendor here that actually took the time to chime in on the thread. I spent a little extra on the mount than the UTG, I figure I can use it down the road with another sight if necessary. I appreciate the help everybody, if I thought about it much longer my head would explode!

Next question...Where do you mount it? How far away do you want the rear sight from the glass when flipped up? Dumb question right?

Not dumb at all. Install it where it feels right to you with both eyes open. There is no eye relief so you can place where it feels right.

Feel free to PM if you have any questions at anytime.

                  this i like too.
i may just have to get my next optic from PA
If you suck with irons you will suck with optics. The difference is the aimpoint will allow you to suck faster and a scope will give you a closer look at how much you suck.
AR's have finally become full blown "men's barbie dolls" now with fashion accessories.
