    Fuzzy EOTech .... thoughts

Just received my new EXPS2 and everything seems real fuzzy. Not the perfect circle and dot I was expecting.

Probably what your seeing is normal and the nature of the technology.
Unless you need glasses, it should not impact at all the useage of the tool.
A magnifier greatly reduces that effect. Also play with the intensity, I go for low as possible for the lighting conditions.

When i had an eotech it'd be fuzzy if i didn't use my glasses. When I put them on it'd a lot clearer.

Get checked for astigmatism. Fuzzy EOTech is a symptom of astigmatism, no ****.

eotechs are pixelated. If you do see a perfect circle, you have a fake. If you see a blurred mess and you haven't used anything like an eotech or even a red dot before, take a picture of the reticle with your cellphone, if the picture looks different than what you see with your eyes, time go to see the optometrist for your astigmatism(also causes aimpoint dots to look like blurred footballs and such).

edit: Yes, we're actually serious about the vision problem thing. A lot of people go out and buy an eotech or aimpoint, take it home, then complain about how much of a mess it is to look though and learn they need glasses.

I have an Eotech and it seemed a little blurry too. Turns out it my prescription for my contacts needed to be changed, it's been awhile since I've gone. Best way to find out if it's your Eotech or your eyes is to take a pic or video of the reticle. When I tried that I realized it was my eyes. Took me a bit to get my camera to properly focus on the reticle but it was perfectly clear in the pic.

Eotech is supposed to be made up of a series of tiny dots, so you can look through the reticle.

This is very common. Do a search on Google. My eotech is Crystal clear with no glasses. With contacts in it becomes blurry. With glasses on it becomes unusably blurry. They're the same prescription.

I have astigmatism in my dominant eye and when I first got my EXPS-2, it was fuzzy. I wear glasses too.

The problem I had though was focusing on the red dot and ring rather than looking through it and out to my target. Also, when I first got it, I was looking through it at close range. Once I took it to the range and stopped focusing on it, it was crystal clear.

Go to Eotech website, they describe how to I'd a Chinese knock off. Also, check your brightness level....

It should be a little fuzzy. Call of Duty and Battlefield holo sights are not what they look like in real life.

Also turn the brightness down as much as possible where u can still see the reticle
