    Ar optics

Any suggestions on quality optics that won't break the bank. Should I go for scope style or holographic sights EOtech style?

What purpose for the rifle? Long range? General plinking? Door kicking CQB stuff?

What style AR did you build? What size targets and distance to you want to engage?

On a scope style I really like 1x-4x scopes. Having it set on 1x allows you to shoot both eyes open for quick shooting, but you can also crank it up for slower precision shots.

The best sights are the iron sights to learn first.

Then, CQB, an EOTech isn't bad.
For a bit further, an ACOG.
          For further, a 1-6 or 1-8x24.
For furthest, a larger scope that will necessitate the use of a bipod or sling, and won't work for anything close up.

Aimpoint. Check out Nutnfancy's videos on AR Optics on YouTube. First determine your philosophy of use and that will guide you.
What is the military using? Why?
What is law enforcement using? Why?
              What are hunters using? Why?

If you watch the deals pages and want to sell pages, etc. your optic will come in at a great price.

Great feedback! General plinking, but then some further stuff. Once I get my equipment and gun rig set up for my wheelchair I really want to try some distance shots. I have the M&P 15.

For general plinking, I'd go with something that has magnification. I'd look into getting a 1-6 scope.

In my humble opinion, if you want a scope (not a red dot), the best values ($ x performance) are the Nikon p-223 scopes and the Nikon M-223 scopes. Nikon makes great stuff at a low price. Unless you are shooting in twilight, you don't need super expensive HD glass. In regular daylight, Nikon's glass and clarity seems as good as any. That's my 2 cents.

Are you mounting a gun rig to your wheel chair permanently? Are you a veteran?

@Moneyshot no, through Calguns I got a rig that mounts to my chair. I was shot when I was 14 by a crazy neighbor and was paralyzed from chest down. Trying to get back into shooting.

                            Sup brudah!

I say go red dot. You won't have to fine tune eye relief and position. With the red dot, as long as you can see the dot, it'll be good to go.

                              I'm thinking the Burris AR-332 $349 w $100 mail in rebate. Thoughts?
