I just noticed another problem with my MD-06. When switching to '10' setting, the dot disappears. Switching to '9','11' or any other setting brings the dot back. Only on the '10' it disappears. Pls check yours if that is an issue, I may have just gotten a lemon.

We received some extra mounting tabs from the factory. It is so close that we are going to remove a bit of metal before shipping them out. As they sit they fit most rails but if it on the small side of the allowed tolerance it is not as tight as I would like.

Run it back and forth across that setting several times. Could be some production debris. If that does not clear it up shoot our CS dept a email at info@primaryarms.com

It doesn't allow itself to get tightened enough to have a good fit on other rails like the flat top on the Sig 522. It is the same issue on the mount as described by this guy in another forum:

See Final Edit for Solution if you are experiencing problems with your mount (the one that comes with the sight not a custom riser).Hey guys,I picked up two of the Primary Arms MD-06 Micro Red Dot Cla

It may need half or a millimeter shed from the base so the screw can be tightened more just like on the TRS-25 I have also. I'd like to contact Aimsurplus for possible replacement, but I don't know if all of the base mounts are made the same. I know how to fix it but I don't want to file a brand new item I just bought.

I haven't seen a lot of complaints about it, just one on the link I provided so maybe there are mounts that are out of spec?
I ended up tightening the nut on the opposite side of the lever and bam!!!

I love PA red dots, inexpensive and legit.

I was worried when I received mine as well. Chris (I believe was his name) assured me that it is normal. Apparently the angled lens helps reduce glare.

Correct you dont want the reflection going back to the target. A vietcong sniper named "Cobra" paid the price for that via Carlos Hathcock!
