i have been reading up on all the different scope options and differences and what the additional money gets you in most cases: clearer glass, reliable adjustments... etc.
but what about in the mounts? i know i want a QD mount and one that is extended to get the eye relief. but what say would be the differences between the Burris P.E.P.R. QD ($90), American Defense Scout ($150), or the BOBRO precision ($250).
what does the extra $ usual give? i'm guessing repeatability when removed from the gun and then reattached? i don't plan on removing the optic very often. What would justify the additional cost?
Thanks for anyone that can shed a little light on this.
