    suggestion for ar sight

So im looking for a red dot sight in my price range 100$ to 200$ this is my first AR15 so not looking to get all crazy. I don't like the tube red dot sights looking for reflex type. Also looking for scope in the 200 to 300$ range. Wanting to get out there a bit maybe up to 250 yrds. Well guys let me know your suggestions in my price range. Will be picking my AR up tomorrow. Cant wait.

    Thanks again.

Personally, I'd wait -- save up for a few more months and get an high-speed Eotech or Aimpoint. You can find slightly used ones on cal guns in the $300s.

primary arms, or stretch to 350-400 and get a used eotech or aimpoint PRO. Theres a bushnell holosight sight out there that is pretty much the same thing as an eotech, but with out the blast cover. If you can find it, they are about 200-250
            Have a good day!

While it is a tube red dot sight, the Bushnell TRS-25 would work great: http://www.opticsplanet.com/bushnell...dot-sight.html

Comes with the mount that is the correct height for the AR-15.

In that price Range, I would go with PA or a Vortex, great CS from both those companies.

PA just came out with two new red dots with 50,000 hrs of battery life and standard quick detach mounts. At $169 that's hard to beat. Another good option is Lucid HD7. You might be able to find a used C-More at your price range.

Vortex, I've been happy with their products.
