I made a setup myself with off the shelf components 10 years ago using a thermal scope that had a video out and some video glasses. We were able to hip shoot steel plates at 365 yards with it, was fun if not overly practical due to wires and battery packs.

Just need one of these for a scope - we used them on film cameras many years ago when I did that kind of work (before kids - before a wife).
They do also make adapters for your phone to fit a scope.
