Just thought someone would understand the concept of more rings and give me a logical explanation.. Like I said Kirby Allen is the only one that got it on another site..

Of course it dosent hurt your situation assuming the rings are all lapped and the rails not tweaked from a less then straight reciever. If the above aren't true you could easily destroy that scope.

But like I said proper torquing goes a long way. Quality rings go even further.

Not overkill--you haven't mounted an EOTech on top of the scope yet.

One ring to rule them all.

                  Did you lap those rings?

They were ready to go the day I got them. Used 3 for minute, then with help from a buddy from the eastern block. they shoot TRGs for a living. So I guess I'll take his advice and the rings

You should call that scope Hannibal Lecter if it needs to be restrained like that!

If it works better, then by all means it's a good mod. Overkill is when you're adding superfluous parts and accessories that do not improve function, accuracy, or handling characteristics, and only add unnecessary weight. This is not such a case.

Anyway - GOOD looking rifle! What is it?
