I have not found better deals than Liberty Optics on two recent purchases, and the customer service has been outstanding.

Just thought i'd throw in my 2 cents.

Ordered 3 items from them yesterday, all of which were marked "In stock".

Today I received the ever so not personal e-mail stating:

Thank you for your order. We apologize, but your order has been temporarily placed on hold because we have just run out of stock (items listed).They are very popular and hard to keep around. We do have more on the way to us and it should take about 5-10 business days for us to receive them in stock

Interestingly enough all 3 of the items are out of stock.

None of them are on sale.... yet they are very.. very popular items.

I can see how 5-10 business days turns into several months of waiting.

Not a very good business antic when you list everything in stock, yet have very little.

Scott and his gang are a great bunch of guys, if I had known that they had the Bushnell elite 3200 10x40 for $175 shipped I would have bought from them. Optics Planet charged me $209 shipped. But I ordered some goodies from Scott on Tuesday 8.19.2008, I had them on Saturday 8.23.2008.
I will definitely by next scope from Liberty. Thanks, USMCM16A2

I got a great deal on an ACOG from him, he kept me up to date on the order status and shipped it out as fast as he got it.

I tried to order a bushnell red dot about 6 months ago. At the time of my order the item showed that it was in stock. I had gotten the confirmation email and all was well. The next day I had gotten another email saying the item was out of stock but it would be shipped in 7-10 days or something like that. I waited the two weeks and nothing. So I finally called and cancelled my order, but the whole time I was waiting the dang website said it was in stock. Luckily I found a used aimpoint for not much more than the bushnell.

i recently ordered a Leupold VXII 3-9x40 scope from optics planet and it was indeed in stock as listed and shipped out two days later. i can say it was a definite positive experience. However, i do like to spend with "real people" not cyberguys- so i'll surely be looking at Liberty Optics in the future.
