Recommend Optics 4 Rem. 700 .308

Looking into a Rem 700 in .308 before Spring. I`ll need a Scope, but wont use it too much. Mid-Price Range & I`m not trying to do too much with it, maybe 200 yards. Thanks!

I bought a 4.5-14x40 Nikon Buckmaster with a mildot reticle that I absolutely love. I mounted it on a Tikka T3 in .308. Cost me about $300, plus an extra $50 for a DNZ dednutz mount. Don't know what you'll be doing with it, but this setup has worked well for me!

If you're in a higher price range (around 1K to 1.5K), I like this one. G2 reticle.

first... what is "mid-range"?

500? 800? 1000?

i bought a viper pst ffp. still have to mount it on my ar-10. i also have a falcon menace. roughly 1/2 the price of the viper pst.. happy with it but i've not gone to past 100 yet due to time constraints.

Thanks...I`m planning on longer (to me) Range Work, & an occasional Deer Hunt. 2-300 yards, not much more. Planning on getting a Rifle, wont use it that much, reasonable price would be good. Thanks!

The Bushnell Elite series scopes have great optics and you can still find them at good prices. This 3-9x40 w/Multi-X reticle would work well on a .308 hunting rifle.

"Reasonable" can have many different meanings. I could spend $1800 on a scope and not bat an eye, but some people would not spend more than $200.
