The TRS has a 4x16 power, illuminated mil-dot reticule and well over a 100 MOA vertical and horizontal adjustment. It also has a lifetime replacement Guarantee. It cost much less. Way more scope for the money. There is no other scope in it's price range that can touch it.

The TRS is not a small scope, but it fits fine on a 16" without the sunshade...I haven't tried to install it with the sunshade yet, but the way I have it set up it is several inches behind the FSB. It's a little large for constant use, but for the long range work that it is intended for it's fine.

Hey Top Cat, would it possible for you to post a pic of your setup? I've been struggling trying to find a scope that is similar in price and quality as the TRS-1 that would fit a 16". The Falcon Menace was suggested, but thats a little more money that I really didnt want to spend.

I would be happy to do that, but I don't have the rifle with me right now...

I would be interested to see it to.

Here's someone selling blems for $225 shipped:

You'd have to ask them about warranty coverage and the nature of the blems - I have no interest in the listing, just passing it on.

It looks FUGLY on a 16" rifle. Looks much better on a 20".
