What is the cheapest durable red dot scope?

It's a .458 SOCOM pistol and I want a red dot. I imagine the recoil will be stout. What will survive without breaking the bank?

I've heard good things about the Vortex Sparc but I would rather spend Primary Arms mini red dot money.

I have one mounted on a pellet gun and it hold zero just fine! pellet guns kill scopes/dots.
They will be in stock next month

If you already have aimpoints, then primary arms provides the same SOP. IMO, the vortex controls are less than ideal.

I thought "cheap and durable" was an oxymoron.

                    Concrete is cheap and durable.

I don't need fancy or light weight.

I might try to get a cheap used Aimpoint. If I can't find one cheap enough, it looks like I'll try the PA.

Yeah- forget testing optic on BMG.... a springer pellet gun will break most scopes quick.

I really like my vortex razor red dot, but it's probably a lot more than you want to spend.

"Durable" is not in the vocabulary of cheap optics.

                              I'm forever blowing bubbles,
                              Pretty bubbles in the air,
                              They fly so high,
                              Nearly reach the sky
