I have a vortex strikefire and I'm ok with it, except for the huge MOA--compared to traditional scopes. I think it is a fine scope and you won't be disappointed. I bought mine over a year ago at $119 or something like that. I would not pay 169 for it though, because at that price I might spend a little more and get something nicer. For 119 and free shipping it's a keeper.

Red Dot Value Question Aimpoint/Vortex

I love Vortex stuff, I got a couple Viper PST scopes, but I even passed on the $119 deal at PSA (and that is a pretty sweet price) ... If im going to go budget im just going to get a Primary Arms unit... Warranty is a non issue with budget optics because I never end up keeping them. With that said ive never had an issue with anything Vortex or Primary Arms.
After using better RDS units, I dont think I would really be happy unless I went with something like an aimpoint, eotech, and if im feeling spendy Trijicon.
Lifes too short to use crappy optics.ExtremeXComment
