Can you tell me more about this red dot you guys sell here. ?

I currently have a set of the Magpul MBUS GEN2's which I am now thinking twice about. But I did not want run an absolute co-witness setup. I have been reading about the lower 1/3 co-witness and like the idea of it.

How would I be able to achieve this setup with the red dot I posted above and which mount would be necessary?
    Red dot is $99
You will need a high mount $10 ( under the drop down) like Marshall said we do carry Strikefire and for HD we recommend Aimpoint or EOtech

Here is our video explaining lower 1/3 cowitness

I've seen Primary Arms Micros in carbine classes, including on instructor guns, so they are rugged enough for a training environment. The only failure I've seen is when someone left the covers off their elevation/windage knobs during a rainstorm and the optic filled with water. Once dried out, it started working again.
For self defense/SHTF, you cant beat something that's proven itself like AP, EOTech, Trijicon, Leupold and Nightforce.

I have a SPARC, an EOTech 512 and an EOTech EXPS2-2. Saving for an Aimpoint PRO. If you're really looking for a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI optic, the battery life on the PRO means you'll spend less time sifting through the rubble of civilization for type 2L76 or DL1/3N batteries.

With a battery life of 30,000 hours continuous, three sets of batteries will have you covered for a little more than 10 years.

Vortex SPARC/STRIKEFIRE controls are less than ideal, IMO. I much prefer the Primary Arms if you're not sure on spending the money for an Aimpoint. If you decide you like it and want to upgrade, the PA sell pretty quickly. I personally avoid anything with multi-reticles though. Just a preference, IMO.

I think eotechs and aimpoints are overpriced.

On my AR I currently have the Aimpoint Comp M4s with the Aimpoint 3x magnifier. Both with LaRue QD mounts and the flip over for the mag so I can co witness.. I absolutely love them. It set me back about 1400 bucks. I could use some advise on cheaper red dots for my tactical 12 ga. I like the mini Aimpoints but they are anywhere from mid 4to 6 hundred.

Then you should take a look at Premier Reticles.

votex has great customer service because they always break. Aimpoint ever day all day. I will say tho if aimpoint is to much money votex is the best for lower end optics.

I started with an Aimpoint M4, but sold it in favor of an Aimpoint Micro. No difference in glass, clarity or sharpness in the dot. Right now, I have an ACOG, Aimpoint H-1, and an Aimpoint R-1 on reserve for a Mark III pistol.

In the realm of red dots, Aimpoint is king, but then again, I haven't had a chance to fondle the Trijicon SRS.
