Opinions on this Thor Thermal Scope being pushed on Bitchute?

I don't think its legal to do any night hunting anywhere in CA, but I might like a hi-mag Thermal optic for Security work against two legged vermin. Just spotting, not shooting. LOL. I'd by like the Guide on a hunt who just finds game for client.
Sorta pricey for a toy. Will China start selling these almost as good for 1/3 price in a year?
Not too thrilled by monochromatic display. I think I'd prefer something like SEEK Thermal cellphone add-on where it displays full color with white>yellow being hottest and blue>black being coldest, and gives numbers for highest and lowest. But I guess that is more useful in industrial applications.

It will work well for everything closer than say bunnies at 500 yards. The 320 sensor is about the minimum that I'd go down to but for bigger than rat sized targets it should see as far as you can possibly shoot. It has a 1024x768 display which should give you a very clean picture of whatever the sensor picks up. The automatic recoil activated camera recording is a nice feature. The next higher level of their scopes gives you the laser rangefinder with ballistic compensation that would be great for long distance varmints. It is very challenging to judge distances at night through the thermal scope.

If you're only using for spotting, get binos.

PSA had the AGM Rattler 384 on a blowout sale for $1,100. I got one and it's great.

Take a look at DNT thermals they're a new company, but have very reasonable prices. If you're looking for a thermal that can be used as a scanner, stand alone optic or as a clip on look at the Hydra
