I''l let you know this weekend but I think it won't shift. I indexed the the stud on the optic to the rear of the carry handle hole. The base of the mount fits snugly in the carry handle channel \_/ but as it goes up the carry handle tends to V out with about .17 gap on the side. I had to lap one of the washers on a file to get the lever to index properly with firm finger pressure. Normally I leave my optics on but for you P I'll do it hehe.
