Any other scope like the Trijicon TR24R?

I saw this scope at a local gun shop and love it, but for my .22 it just seems a bit too expensive.

I'm basically looking for a scope like the red-dots, but doesn't use a battery. Something with a non - eliminated cross hairs.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

It doesn't meet your specs exactly, but the Vortex Viper PST 1-4x is a cheaper 1-4x option. Almost $300 cheaper. You get a lot of scope for the $$$.

We currently have the Viper PST 1-4x and the Trijicon Accupoint in-stock. Let us know if you have any other questions.

Thanks for the recommendation, but I think the rectile is illuminated.

Weaver Classic 1-3X Scope sounds like what you are looking for.

TR-21 is another less expensive option. Same design as the TR-24 except 1-inch tube vs. 30mm.
I wonder if Trijicon can make a non-tritium version of the Accupoint scopes to lower the price point. For range and match use, fiber optic only illumination is more than enough. I am not aware of any night time rifle match in my area to make use of the shining tritium. Oh well, at least this scope is EMP-proof.

If you're on a budget, take a look at the Basrska AC10770. Yeah, Barska doesn't have the best reputation, but I can vouch for this model. it's 1.5-4.5x with a first focal plane mil dot reticle for about $110. For that price, it's a GREAT scope.
I don't think I would buy any of their other scopes, but for a plinker .22, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one of these.

Since it is for a. 22 why not just a 2X Power Red Dot, or a fixed 3X scope?

I have a red dot, but I would rather have a not illuminated cross hairs.

BTW, the TR21 is 1.25-4x vs 1-4x for the TR24. They both have crosshair reticles available but note that there is an illuminated dot in the center (you can play with the shade to adjust the brightness).

IIRC the retail price on the TR21 isn't too much lower than the TR24, but look around for used ones for better pricing.
