One question, how is the black finish color on the Larue mount compare to the black finish on the scope? It looked a little lighter black or grayish from the photo. Thanks

The discoloration you see in the photos is just a product of my crappy camera and the horrible indirect lighting in my livingroom. The Larue mount is a very dark black, grainy matte finish. The IOR is a dark black but with a more refined finish, smoother to the touch.

Thanks, I'm using TPS mediun rings right now, thinking of getting the Larue lt-107 mount to get the scope off when I'm cleaning the rifle, but man that sucker runs $275

Yeah their mounts sure aren't cheap, but damn are they nice pieces of kit!
