Noob scope ring/AR Question

Howdy folks. I have a Leupold VXIII series scope (1" tube)
that I want to mount on my flat top AR.
its variable 8.5-25x figure its good enough for my plinking.
are most tactical scopes 30mm ?

I want to get a decent set of rings for it, maybe single piece with a quick detach lever.

any recommendations?
