Compact, non-battery reliant, optics?

Any recommendations for something like the Lepould Prismatic, http://www.leupold.com/tactical/prod...illum-reticle/, but in the $150 price range? For an AR-15.

A Sig mini red dot for $100. I think it would need a mount so investigate that first but it has a lifetime warranty...

Or you could get a laser.

trijicon RMRs are non battery operated, tri powers are also non battery operated but do have a battery as a third source of power(aside from tritium and fiber optic)

sorry missed the $150 part, i guess if thats the case, you probably won't find one short of a cheap 1-4x scope

i would say trijicon, but you will walk away with at least an $800 hole in your pockets
they are nice scopes tho and they will last untill the eath explodes

I have no experience with this scope, although I have had good luck with some other scopes from FM Optics. It appears to have a glass etched reticle that reverts to black when not illuminated. I wouldn't count on it to trump an ACOG, but it's probably not too bad for what it is. Primary Arms used to sell a version of this under their brand name as well, although it's not currently listed on their site.
