Aimpoint Micro Match Up

Hey all,

I am going to go with an Aimpoint Micro with Larue base and my questions are as follows:

I want to use the Dan Defense non folding BUIS and so I was wondering which of the Larue (high or medium) would give me lower 1/3 or reg co witness


ALSO just out of curiosity does anyone know if the LMT offset BUIS is available yet?

You need the high mount and it will give you lower 1/3 co-witness with most sights.

I just realized that DD sells a Micro mount that is suppose to work well with their BUIS. Question is if I decide to go with all DD but at a later time wanted some magnification, would the Larue 3x mount work flush with the DD.

Just remember that the DD mount does not have quick detach capability. If you don't care about that, then by all accounts that I've read it is a solid, light mount.

The DD T-1 mount will not interfere with anything, you'll be fine with a 3X behind it. In fact, because it does not QD it is very compact, no lever sticking out.

Thank you for the quick response. Will the larue 3x and DD T1 mount line up correctly. (i.e same height off rail)
