    Thermal Optics

We live in the woods in Northern Idaho and we have different types of game that come on our property, especially at night when we take our dogs out.

I am going to purchase a thermal optic, I was thinking the Pulsar Axion 2 LRT XQ35.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand/model? Do you have a recommendation for a different one? The budget is around $3000.

Very happy with Pulsar XM38, day or night. Weapon mount vs hand held was my debate, couldn't afford both. Use the XM38 with QA and lanyard to hang around my neck for spotting, then mount when necessary. Not ideal, but works for me.
