My holosuns have no glareHmmm. I hope it survives the drop test.
One positive they tout is the clear glass and no use of coatings and tints...That is nice provided you get get weird glare or a weird reflection like you get on the holosun red dot.
One negative, to me, is the mounting which is the Leupold Delta Point style. Sorry, I got rmr style mounts on everything.NRA Lifetime Member

True enough. The GI's need all the help they can get.

Still though, they are bothering to roll out to the general public. They probably do want to do well, at least some of their folks are incentivized to sell this thing. You would think they roll out with a more widely used mounting system. Competition is good.Comment

I have a brand new HE508T-GR-X2 that I got from Europtic in November. If light hits it at certain angles, I get a orange box with the green dot floating in the middle of it. The orange glare appears to be the front orange metallic AR coating.
I also have the orange thing on a HE510C-GR (poor man's Eotech Holographic) to a lesser extent. I actually prefer this sight to an Eotech in general. I had both side by side and returned the Eotech.
Don't worry man, the orange glare thing is not a game changer... I still like my holosuns. Pound for pound, good value for the dollar.Comment
