I'm wondering if anyone here has got their hands on one of these. I'm particularly concerned about the durability, since the few reviews/videos that are out there don't address it. Otherwise, it looks very promising. People describe it as being like a Steiner P4Xi that's a 1-6. For those who don't know, it's made at the LOW factory in Japan, the same one that makes a lot of top end scopes like the Vortex Razors.

If I was in the market for a 1-6x under $1,000 - this is the one I'd get. It's made by LOW in Japan, so I wouldn't worry much about durability - they're well known for making high quality optics. However, I'm more interested in intermediate hunting optics (2-10x, 3-15x, etc) than LPVOs these days.WTB: Beretta 92/M9 series (non-railed), Remington 1100 LT-20, -
I have one, and I am super happy I took a risk on a European company just getting their foothold here in the US (though they have a strong reputation overseas).
Sorry, I've only been out once since I got it; its way too early to speak about durability. For that I'm relying heavily on LOW's reputation.
As far as quality goes, I am so very happy I went with this over the Viper PST, which it is probably most often compared to, along with the p4xi. The light weight, superb glass, and nuclear bright dot have exceeded my expectations.
About the only thing missing from my wish list on this was a shake awake feature for the red dot. Very minor quibble, and of course you have the reticle available at all times regardless. I did an absolutely unhealthy amount of research before this purchase and it paid off. I feel confident saying there is no better value in a LPVO at this price point. And it really isn't close.
Hope that helps.Comment

I have one. The red dot is daylight bright. From a bang for buck standpoint, this is hands down the best SFP LPVO and it is not even close. What matters after value is the reticle and if you are willing to pay almost double to get the 1-6x which is the Razor Gen 2. At that point, you are really paying for the lifetime warranty that comes with Vortex.Comment

Almost double the prices for Razor 1-6? Most of us who buy vortex pay discounted price that is readily available through authorized dealers. I paid slightly over $1000 for a BNIB Razor 1-6 gen2-e MRAD thru my usual online retailer (EuroOptics).I have one. The red dot is daylight bright. Vortex also has a very good MIL discount. So does one of the vendors here, CSTactical.Comment

I just looked up Eurooptic and the Razor Gen 2 MRAD is $1,399. Are you referring to military/LEO discount or sale? That is almost 30% discount you got there. I would love to know more as I am looking at either a March 1-10x shorty or Vortex 1-10x for a new Scar 17S.Comment

Yes . MIL discount + e-check discount pricingComment

LibertyOptics has the Gen 3 Razor for 1699 or something like that. But you may have to wait many months for it. YMMV.Partisanship is cancer. Glory to the USA, glory to Ukraine, and I hope that someday Russia is free and the normal people have a voice.
