    Help on Glock19 Laser

I need help on a good reasonably priced Glock 19 laser, maybe combo light and laser. What do Calgunners recommend?

      I had a TLR 6 on my 23.

It’s okay but light isn’t as bright. I took it off as I have no need for the laser.

Do you have experience with one?

No firsthand experience, but I've had people tell me they ended up removing it because when you point it at the target, the "dot" moves so much it's distracting to shoot with it. It's not like the movies.

Streamlight TLR8. I plan to get one but mainly for the light. I don’t really want or need the laser but since it’s a nice combo package I figure it couldn’t hurt. TLR 7 if just want the light.

YUP. No laser...spend the money on good training, ammo, good light, good gun, good belt/holster, etc. Work on good grip, good trigger work, and overall marksmanship first.

I always crack up when I see people using a laser at the range and they shoot still shoot like garbage.

Laser are viable just be sure to zero over lapping your rds or irons at the furthest distance you can see at dusk. The TLR2 or TLR8 are really good for the money. Having a laser vis or IR as an optional aiming device has its benefits. Your group size shouldn't change using irons, rds, scope or a laser.

The illumination was set to the lowest setting. Contacted Riton and was told this was normal for this scope. If you think you might need to use this for some ...

                    Do you have a holster?

Does the laser need to be frame mounted so you can keep using the holster?

                    o light is budget friendly

Older eyes, detecting IED trip wires, wearing a gas mask, unconventional shoot positions and night vision are a few examples of when a laser is needed.

More like why you need a red dot.
