to put a conclusion to my quest since this was bumped up, i picked up the Nikon Buckmaster.

I just liked the reviews I've found and it seems to have the general feeling that it is a good scope. Plus it does have lifetime warranty so if i do sell it later on, it can be a plus.

i ahve a Nikon buckmaster 6-18 mil dot. and its freaking awesome. And its the same price as the first nikon on your list.

with the addition of a 20moa mount i can easily get to 1000yds with some spare adjustments. than dial back down to my 100 zero and still be on the money.

edit. damn little late just saw your last post there.

Here's a better picture of the FM Optics FFP mil dot scope on my Savage.

Playing around with it during bore sighting, it seems to track really well, no issues at all running it the full range of it's 75 moa travel. I'm taking it out this weekend to see if it will handle recoil, I'm not anticipating any catastrophic failures though. It seems to be a very solid scope. I'll try to do a small write up once I get some trigger time behind it.

I would recommend getting a Bushnell and Tactical scope and save your money and get a Leupold or Nightforce.
