Not sure what you guys consider serious. I’m not in the military or LE. I just go to the range and poke holes in paper. I’ve always ran eotechs. But I figure for This rifle I’d like the paper to be further away...

Shot a few competitions in the past. Wouldn’t mind being able to again if I wanted

Ahhh... $79.95 Breakska should do the job then.

I have a Leupold CQ/T that has visible specks in the illumination. While fiddling around in the house, they're noticeable, but when shooting, they just go away.

When it's not illuminated, I don't see them at all. The CQ/T isn't daylight bright, so they may be more obvious in low light shooting.

For $800 thats some nice glass IMHO... I'd call PA and ask for one with perfect glass and some external housing scuffs or otherwise superficial imperfection that would probably be there after you use it a few times outdoors anyway or even bumping around in your safe. Open box go for the same $799 but they are all out.
