Hard or Soft Case Recs for a PVS-14

How do you store when not in use?
    Store w/ or w/o J-arm attached?
    Thanks

When transporting more than 1 hard case: Pelican, Apache, Husky hard case with vent valve. When traveling light Tactical Tailor marine soft case, anti static bag, JArm/dovetail adapter attached. When going to classes or night shoots in the TT soft case, placed inside of my helmet, with the chin strap and peltor comms holding them in place. For long term storage, in the TT soft case, anti static bag, JArm/DDA attached, battery removed.
