Swampfox Optics --- Arrowhead 1-10 --- very nice scope

So I ended up buying the Swampfox Arrowhead scope after watching a video review of it by Ilya, aka the Dark Lord of Optics. I have followed Ilya's reviews for a while and I appreciate the detail he provides. I have also never been disappointed with anything Ilya has recommended.

I am certainly not qualified to review scopes myself, but I have owned/used many different brands of scopes, as well as different levels of cost/quality. My high-end would be the NF ATACR, and my low end would would be a super-cheap Bushnell from from Big 5 (I regretted that one). Lots of scopes in between, including Vortex, Leupold and Sightron, etc.

I had never even heard of Swampfox before I saw Ilya's review, and I do not have any affiliation with them (or with any other scope company).

Bottom line is that I really like this Arrowhead scope. I got the 1-10 model and I think it is a fantastic option for the money.

The glass is clear and bright.
The eye box is very easy to get behind at all power levels.
The MOA reticle is perfect for my application.
The illumination is very visible, even in daylight.
The turrets lift and lock and have nice crisp clicks.
The focus ring on the eyepiece was easy for me to adjust for my eye.
And a little side-note: The box and packaging are as nice as I have ever seen.

Again, I am not a scope expert, but I wanted to write a "review" on the Arrowhead so others might become aware of it.

I hope people will give Swampfox a chance -- I am quite surprised at how much I like my 1-10 Arrowhead.

By the way, if you want to see a real review, check out Ilya's video.

i took the Arrowhead out to the range for the first time yesterday and it performed great. I know it is just one visit, but I consider this one a keeper.

It is a Chinese made optics, I'll pass on them.

            Are these Chinese scopes?

I don't have anything against China but their glass quality sucks.

This glass quality is fine. Not NF but the glass quality is fine.

Not pro or against China but their glass is getting significantly better now

I wouldn't be so quick to discount it.

I got these images from welikeshooting.com. No commentary just a straight side by side comparison of various LPVO's against the Swampfox Arrowhead. The images speak for themselves.

Here is a funny review they did as well. It shows the durability of the optic.

I wish it was a FFP like the Atibal.

Seems like the Chinese optics companies are gaining ground then.

I personally dont like ffp in a lvpo. I do like it in higher magnification scopes. I like sfp so the reticule is always usable even if battery dies. Some ffp reticle are too small on 1x without the illumination

It's my understanding one of the main reticle designers at Swampfox Optics is from PrimaryArms now.

I have a PrimaryArms optic as well and the Swampfox Arrowhead glass is significantly better. At least between the two I have. But it's not an apple to apple comparison because my PA is not an LPVO.

It's going to be interesting to see what they do over the next few years.

I agree with everything the OP has listed in favor of the Swampfox Arrowhead. I went with the 1-8x and BDC guerrilla reticle. I also went with their own brand of scope mount which has held up quite well so far. Overall a very good experience with this being my first LPVO.

The pic above helps a lot, thanks. I'm trying to decide between an Arrowhead 1-6 or Burris RT-6.
