    entry level night vision

Anyone have any experience with night vision or thermal for under 150 yards.
The ranch we hunt in Texas is brushy with limited distance. Do not want to spend a lot. I see many on ebay but do not know how well they function.

    entry level night vision

PVS14 on a helmet with an IR illuminator and IR pointer on the rifle. Works great for me. Particularly at that distance.

Thermal is great for detection but you need NV to PID a target. Fusion devices like the PSQ-20 is what the military is moving towards.

As a kid I always wanted the goggles from Splinter Cell. Looks like they'll be here soon

Hmmm, $15k. Might need to be pretty serious about that before ordering.

If you're motion sick sensitive, you've been warned. I wore a nice setup while driving a RZR in the desert, fun but pretty woozy. Not the monocular style, 1 unit per eyeball.

If I recall the owner of them paid $10K for them, maybe not your price range but these were super clear, at least more so than the cheaper monoculars I've used.

Entry level, shucks thats easy. Get on the horn and follow the format for a Joint Call for Fire and specify you want a 4 gun Illiumintation Range and Lateral, M485's, HOB 600 meters, your grid.

They probably weren’t collimated properly. I’ve used dual tube NODs for a long time and the only time I’ve ever experienced what you described was when I used a set of PVS-15’s that were rebuilt and the tubes weren’t collimated. Started getting a headache after wearing them for about 3 hours on a hike.
