I have the TLR8 G. Really happy with the performance. Very bright green laser. Daylight bright (but its still a very small point of light)

If your looking for a laser, its a solid package.

Yes. I prefer green. Much more visible across the board.

Green burns out faster than red, and because of how the diodes work , use up more energy meaning less time for same amount of batteries.
Green is clearer in some situations but Red comes out clear in more overall. Hence why are most tier one units still with Red? Until there are more advances in diodes and power management... all things being equal perhaps red.

Have the TLR8 in red. My understanding is green is better for daylight/brighter conditions. Cost difference?

Viridian make a great green laser thats used in both daylight and nightime scenarios plus battery life is excellent

Green lasers are great during the day, and super bright at night. But the bright green can give away your location when used in outdoor night. Red laser is harder to see the shooter at night.
