Aimpoint ML3 with Eotech 3x Magnifier. Good match?

A friend is selling his Eotech 3x magnifier at a good price. Can the 2 coexist in harmony without modifications to the existing mounts? Anyone here have this setup? Thoughts?

I've never seen that combination so you might be waiting a while for input. The other way usually works though (AimPoint mag + EOTech sight).

I've read reviews where folks have said the 3x Eotech magnifier is not as good glass as the 4x Eotech magnifier, but don't have personal experience.

I did actually try Superset's 4x Eotech magnifier behind my Aimpoint T-1, and they did line up close enough to work. However, for some reason the T-1's dot looked squishy, not crisp and round but kinda like a blob. Not sure why or if it was just my eyes. I did demo an Aimpoint 3x magnifier on a T-1 and did not notice the same problem.
