Warranty repair on my Vortex PST Scar made the reticle tilt clockwise twice. I think 1" cantilever mount may multiply the force like a whipping effect. I'll change to fixed mounts.

      Warranty exception.
Trijicon will not warranty any optic placed on a SCAR.
It's amazing the idiotic FUD on here sometimes. They will warrant it no questions asked.

Stop calling FUD. Nedro was being sarcastic: He/she was not being serious.

I've never had an issue with Trijicon's warranty, FWIW. Their customer service is of the best, the only one as fast and helpful was Leupold. I had a Trijicon mount for one of my RMRs come apart, and within three days had the replacement parts in hand, no questions asked.

I have two MROs, one on a PWS rifle, the other on a Sig 556xi Russian pistol. Both have been flawless. OP, in regards to your problem, I had a similar issue with a RMR mounted on a pistol. It turned out that I over-tightened the screws holding the optic to the slide, which somehow caused it to happen. I wonder if it could be something to that affect causing the MRO to cut in and out, although the MRO battery is on it's side. Either way, I have zero reservations of their customer service taking care of you.

Have you tried just changing out the battery?

It was mounted for probably roughly 300 rounds total on three different SCARs.

I just got off the phone with Trijicon - probably the fastest warranty department I've ever had to deal with. They asked what the issue was, what firearm it was mounted on, and then told me they'd replace the whole thing (5mins total convo length). So far so good
                please provide updates.
Did you get your MRO replaced?
Try it again on the SCAR 17?

                thanks

Update: Trijicon replaced it no questions asked, but I sold off all my MROs after that so I can't comment on further experience.

This is the main factor, and the fact that it comes with a very effective muzzle brake. Folks often forget that muzzle brakes are significantly harder on optics in larger caliber rifles. Most scopes are only made to handle recoil in one direction.

That being said, I have thousands of rounds on my SCAR17s with a small Nightforce on top, and have had no issues.

I was FURIOUS when my MRO started flickering about 1 month after purchase. Before I called Trijicon with my issues I changed the battery just to be sure. No problems since.
Granted my MRO is mounted on an AR...

Yep swapped it at the range, same end result.
