The optics are clear and work well with a real ML3. I am able to hit tin cans at 150yds with ease and hitting paper in 1-2" groups at 100yds is a breeze.

Now, when compared to a real 3x the eye relief is not that far off...but the real ones is better...but only barely. The quality of the clone suprised me too. I dropped the AR a few times (not on purpose) and the 3x held up just fine. So, I'll stick with the clone for a while and hold on to my $$$.
You have a link to which one you purchased and from where?

I was totally going to buy that Burris, it's on sale at opticsplanet for $190.

But I ended up picking up an Eotech 3x Magnifier with quick release mount for $317 on ebay. Not too worried about it being a fake since the guy has over 5k positive feedbacks and the EOTech 516 I ordered from him before was the real deal.

Still looking forward to hearing from someone else who is brave enough to test the Burris. It looks decent in the pictures but since I got a good deal it only made sense to go with an EO.

I have the Burris, but I paid a whole lot less than that for it. I've only mounted it up in a fixed ring and played around in the garage - no range time yet.

As I said in an earlier post, eye relief is real short, and the main plus is the ability to center it with internal adjustments. I can't speak for the clarity compared to other magnifiers, but it seems fine, and my Eotech's very crisp and clear through it.

I wouldn't have bought it for $190 - heck, I have some decent scopes that cost less than that - and would have bought a clone if I really wanted one and hadn't had a good deal on this.

Spending that much on a simple fixed magnifier just doesn't make sense to me, but if I were going to, I'd spring for more for an Eotech deal like you found. The resale on the Eotech is going to be a lot better than the Burris, IMO.

I backed out of the deal because of the cost of a flip to side mount (Additional $150) bringing the cost back to nearly $500. I'm waiting for the Gen2 with flip to side to come out next month.

Where can I get a Burris for cheap they seem to go for around $200. Anything I get will be expensive after I add the $150 mount

When they first offered them, SWFA had them on their website for an outrageously cheap price, as well as the flip mount and the PEPR mounts. I back-ordered one of everything, and to their credit, SWFA honored the obviously wrong prices. The flip mount never shipped, of course, but the other items did.

I felt a little bad about it, but I'm on a pretty tight budget these days, so I'm OK with it if they are!
