Good NV scope?

Hello everyone, I am somewhat of a newbee so please be patient with me.

I have a remington 597, .22LR, and I am looking for a good night vision set that would work on this gun and hopefully that could work on one or more of these;
- .243 winchester
- 6x65, haven't picked a model yet there though
- and possibly some kind of air rifle (to hunt rats and vermin with, so higher power type for sure)

I want it to be able to do recordings also. No bottom price range, I can afford the expensive stuff if I can use it on the .243 and air-rifle later.

I was looking at the Sightmark Photon XT 6.5x50L Digital Night Vision Scope - Laser IR and it seems nice, but I don't know if I can use it on my .22LR and air rifles? I honestly don't know where/how to find the info on what scopes goes on what gun, I am that green on this.

I was also thinking about adding the UNV 20-IR Long Range LED Infrared Illuminator as well as MDVR Night Vision Mini DVR for Thermal and Digital Devices, but are those any good? I saw some youtube videos where this set was used and I liked what I saw, but I have no chance to try them myself before buying them.

Also, this might sound like a stupid question, but is it hard to transfer a scope from gun to gun? The .22LR I have had a scope on it when I got it, and I've never changed it.

A. Has no magnification and has an IR illuminator (light/laser).
B. Has no magnification and has no IR illuminator (light/laser).
C. Has magnification and has no IR illuminator (light/laser).

Oh I see. Will it fit on the gun though? Like, how do I know what scope fits on top of my gun? (I am super new at this and don't know anyone with guns)

In all honesty, its better, legal, and safer to run a headmounted monocular, and an IR pointer on the rifle. If its dark enough for NV, you dont want to have to point the rifle at everything you want to look at. Also, im not saying you plan on it, but i believe there are legality issues taking game with NV. I dont hunt, so im not well versed on those laws. What area are you in?

Under CA laws/regulations...

One of the things I wanted to use the nightvision for is foxes that attack my own and friends livestock, and rats in the stables (with the air gun), not deer or any large game.

That is dependent upon what type of mounting base is installed on your firearm.

I'm going to make a newbee move again but...how do I know what I have? Is there a number or model name on it that I can look for? This is my first gun so I didn't think too much about these things when I got it, I don't really know much about guns >____<

OMG O____O That is AMAZING. Imagine if there were scopes with that! Those googles must be pretty big and heavy though. Wow, I wonder if this is how it's like to be a cougar or something. That is so cool, I thought it was daytime until I saw the stars.
