    Burris AR-332

I just ordered several new Stag Arms ar15's, i pretty much have my heart set on Aimpoint for my rifles but i still want to keep my options open. I was browsing the net and know that Burris makes descent optics, so i decided to check out their site. I came across their AR-332 and was curious about it. Has anybody here ever seen or used one. I am just basically just looking for some feedback here Yay or Nay, and why? any input would be greatly appreciated. Oh and by the way the Aimpoint's that i am looking at are either the Comp M3 or Comp M2.
Below i am attaching a link for the Burris AR-332.

Looks like a sweet piece to me. I'll be investigating further.

They were just being released at SHOT so details are scarce. Right now we know that the reticle is etched and is always visible along with the illumination. Retail on these will be $299 which would make it one of the cheapest of it's type whilst still being worthy of being mounted on a real rifle.

Also of great interests to me and I'm sure others on here is the 3x magnifier ($150-ish), pivot magnifier muont and their extended eye relief scope mounts priced at $70-ish, those two items are a must buy on my list at the moment. That scope mount especially will make the Millett DMS something even a gear whore like me would buy.

Yeah, it's great to see Burris getting into the EBR arena with mid-price gear and Burris quality.

Nobody's got any of this in hand yet, but we're all looking forward to the reviews.

My primary supplier has added all of these to his catalog, but none are in stock...which means he ordered some but they are not here yet. Hopefully he ordered a bunch and not just 1 or 2 of each.

I called burris this morning to get more info. on the ar-332 scope.
I asked them does the scope has an etched reticle. they said YES. Also, would the their new ar tripler w/ flip mount link up with the new ar-332. They said YES increasing the overall power to 9x.

The scope looks nice and the price is right, but the reticle could use some work IMHO? It looks like something out of a sci-fi movie?

Hopefully they'll consider coming out with a version that just has a simple dot or crosshair etched into it.

I like the looks of that reticle...Please someone post on here when they have played around with it. Include Pics!!!!

How is the 3x Tripler supposed to mount with the optics when it sits 3" and the other sits like 1.6"? I am guess they will have a seperate mount?
