I'm running a Viper PST 1-4 on one of my builds. I'm wondering if any of you have something similar mounted and if you're using back up sights. I'm not sure if I could get the proper eye relief if I moved the scope forward enough to allow a flip up sight.
I've also toyed with the idea of using a 45 degree picatinny mount for flip ups or 45 degree fixed BUIS, but I don't want to deal with the hassle of them getting in the way of a sling or other manipulations.
Opinions with explanations are welcomed. Co-witness flip ups, 45 degree fixed or 45 mounts with flip ups, or just leave it alone and run the scope by itself.
