Leupold Patrol

Anyone out there running a Leupold Patrol VX-R 1.25-4x20 on their AR? Likes-dislikes? Thanks for any input.

I've got the Pig Plex version. I like the reticle better for speed. Fantastic little scope.

The VX-R's are excellent scopes. I have a 2-7 on an AR and a 3-9 on a Vanguard.

I tried one in a store, but my eyes were going a bit crazy with the slight magnification. This wasn't mounted, and close range, so the issues may go away during actual use. I just went a different route

I got one on a 308 ar... haven't shot it yet. Wish I got the 2-7x one but the deal was good enough.

I picked up a used 3-9x40 VX-R Patrol for my 18" AR and am very happy with it. The wake from sleep is very useful at saving my battery when I forget to power off the dot. Even at 3x, the dot makes it very easy to place rounds on target quickly. I like it well enough that I'm also considering the 1-4x20 Patrol or Mark AR to replace my EOTech on my 16".

I have one with the pig plex and the VXR zombie what is the same as the patrol but with a green dot. The scopes are very clear and work great. They are both mounted on ARs and I have hit steel out to 500 but was hard to see with the 4x. They work great at about 300 yards and in. I like that you can use it on the 1.5 and use the scope as a red dot. Great scope as long as your not looking for long range.
