Makes no sense that the would discontinue their best selling optic.

I ordered another one about a month back and it should be arriving tomorrow.

That was my thinking. I don't think the online sales rep had any idea what he was talking about.

On the bright side, not having a red dot scope will allow me to get acquainted with my Magpul BUS.

I guess my order has shipped ahead of the quoted 6-9 week backorder. I called them up today because I noticed my credit card was charged, which means my order has shipped/preparing to ship. According to OpticsPlanet "we just got a ton of them in back in stock."

I got mine from palmetto a few years back on sale for around $350 iirc. Worth checking them out just dont expect to get it within a few days.

Ordered my Aimpoint Pro from OpticsPlanet 2/9/16 and received today 2/19/16. Amazon Prime has them, too but they're at least $100 more shipped to me.

I think mine was from some small shop via internet special years ago, but about $350 shipped IIRC... right now for in-stock PRO's it looks like LAPG with a code is the best bet. Try to find a 10% or 15% code. With my 15% code a PRO is $360 ($63 off or so). Free shipping. At regular prices everyone is selling them @ $432 looks like. LAPG has them @ $425 and they have codes out the ying yang on catalog backs, emailers, etc... happy hunting. TAX takes it to $387 shipped best case scenario unless you can find better than 15%.

Well, I got an e-mail from DS Arms today saying that they are actually out of stock and they were cancelling the order for me...this is the second time this has happened, the first was with Botach...where it said in stock, added to cart, accepted payment info, then oops sorry. This is really frustrating.

Do you have a 15% off code?

Alright, just got off the phone with LA Police Gear. The rep on the phone claimed they have a ton (over 100) in stock and lots more on the way. They actually price matched Botach for $389, and considering the current climate with the market, I don't think that's too bad. With sales tax it came out to $418.18 shipped.

                        Just FWIW.

Ah, very nice. lol Thanks for the reply, though!

I already ordered it from them, still an OK price, and they said they have lots and lots in stock, which nobody else seems to, even when their web sites say they do...so, there's that.

So you have to call in to get the price match?

I would assume so because I didn't see a price match option on the web site, but when you're on hold there's a recording that says they price match and something about "We won't be outsold by anybody."
