    Replica Eotech good or bad?

So i found a website where they seem to sell some good looking quality Eotechs for airsoft (yes i know there is a difference between airsoft and real guns) and well im a college student so I dont have alot of money but i was able to get around to buying my 2nd AR which is a CMMG Mutant MK47 which is chambered in 7.62x39mm and i was wondering if anybody has some insight if a replica eotech will hold up to the rifles recoil. I love the looks of eotechs and i really want one with a magnifier i just dont have $1000 to spend on only my optic.

Here is the optic i would like to get.

Or if anyone else can recommend something else?
The other optic i was looking at was a Burris AR-336 which is around $350-$400

To be honest, i wouldnt try those knockoff ones when there are some proven ones out there.

If u want an EOtech, u can search around for a used one. They recently got sued so people are letting theirs go for cheap.

If u want to go the cheap route. I recommend primary arms, bushnell, vortex. All are proven with lots of reviews.

You bought a $1200+ rifle and you don't want to spend $450-550 on an optic for it? I've really never understood that. Why waste 1/4 of the price on some knock off?

And really, "college student" is more of a bull**** excuse to me since you bought that rifle. I would much rather shoot irons while I waited to save money than buy a cheap knockoff optic that put the actual optic further out of reach.

Also... you like the looks of eotechs? You are basing the optic you want from looks?

Primary Arms. Your money management is terrible.

Agreed. If you don't have the funds then look into a vortex rds. Won't break the bank and good optics. I run an Eotech 512 with a Vortex 3x magnifer. I would recommend this set up.

I have not purchased it yet.... Thats the reason i posted this to get insight from people who know better than me and yeah college student... Im paying my way through university... Took me 11 months to get enough money just to buy the rifle... If i could get a fake eotech and its good that would have been amazing but obviously from what people say they suck so i will be going a different route. I dont need night vision on an eotech so i didnt see a reason to buy a real one if the replica is just as good as a real just no nighr vision i really just need an optic to shoot close range and mid range no need to be an ******* bro. Im paying my own way through college while im still trying to enjoy a hobby of mine which is firearms and shooting...

Thanks to everyone else for their advice that its a bad optic. I will probably save up for the real deal or maybe purchase a burris ar-336 optic

There is no such thing as a decent fake eotech. It is impossible to emulate Eotech's holographic technology at $50.

I would think you could get a nice, range-only used Eotech for $400.....I bought my XPS2 new for $430.

But, if it were me, I'd just shoot irons until the word "budget" is not in the same sentence. Pay for the college stuff and living first....not an optic

Eotech is buying back their optics as they wont hold MOA... more towards 4 MOA shift..........

The Fake is good for Airsoft.... something that can take the impact of airsoft .25 BBs........

Buy a cheap optic if that is all you can afford, consider.......
Buying a $50 Bushnell designed for a rifle
Buy a PSA red dot for around $100
Train with your Irons and put your limited budget..... towards classes.... Learn from a pro when young and you will thank yourself as you see your friends shoot
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET
