I want to raise the flag that any BDC reticle is designed for a specific velocity. So, maybe it works for the 150gr load, but it wouldn't work for the 110gr or 220gr load. So, I'd say it depends on what ammo your going to shoot. If you want to use the full range, I'd just go with the red dot sight with a magnifier setup. A Leupold 2-7 or a Burris 1-4 would work good.

Simply not true.. You can use different zero to line up different loads. The ACSS version has sub marks as well. Also its not the weight that changes the drop but fps and BC

I got a PA red dot on my 300blk. I don't shoot much past 150 yards with it so the 1x works fine for my uses.

I don't have the 300 Blk rifle yet, still saving up for it. But I do have an AK that has a side mount on the receiver so I could use it on that rifle while I am saving for the 300 Blk rifle. What I want to know is are the hold overs for the supersonic 300 blackout the same as the 7.62x39? Or how does it work, since the reticle says it is for both calibers? Thanks.

7.62x39 124gr and 300AAC trajectory is identical

The IOR 1.5-8/35 mil/mil is a beautifully functioning, spectacularly glassed, illuminated reticle scope, and is fantastic on my 300. A little pricey, but worth every penny.

I ordered one of these today. Ended up selling my Yugo SKS from the Group Buy to finance it, but that is OK because I already have 2 Chinese and a Russian SKS. So even though I would have wanted to add the Yugo SKS to my collection, this scope is way more important for the Radical Firearms 300 BLK rifle I just acquired. Now I have to save up for a Larue T-104 mount for it.

Primary Arms should have Paypal option for the non-firearm items. I didn't want to put any more hits on my credit card so I chose the payment option of "money order" when I checked out. But that is a bummer because it adds more time to the transaction.

Got my scope.

I got my Primary Arms 1-6x24 scope with the ACSS 300 blk reticle. Well actually it is both 300 blk, and 7.62x39, which is great because after Xmas I'm planning on buying another one for an AK since this one went on my 300 blk AR15 rifle. Here is a close up of it mounted on my new Radical Firearms 300 BLK Rifle.

I bought the throw lever off of a fellow Calguns member. He makes them himself out of 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodizes them. Only charged me $25 plus $5 shipping. Fits perfectly. Here is a 10 round group at 100 yards shooting Nosler Varmigedon (spelling?) 110 gr 300 blk factory ammo. It was the cheapest I could find at Sportsman's Warehouse at $15.99 for a box of 20 rounds. It was weird to say the least. I fired 5 rounds and ended up with one bullet flying low and to the left. Then I fired a second group of 5 rounds and another bullet went flying low and to the left. So I have two flyers low and to the left but I am very happy with the other 8 rounds. I know others can do better, but that is good shooting for me.

I'm sure PA's scope is good and easy on the wallet. I'll probably give that scope a try in the near future. The ones i've used/own are Nikon P300, eotech xps2-300, and the acog TA31 & TA11. I've liked all of them especially the acog's. Acquired all of these because I wanted for super and sub loads. I am from Louisiana and just moved back to SoCal in march 2015. So I keep most of my guns and cans back in Louisiana where I still have a house. Since most of my guns and all of my cans aren't legal here in Cali. So since your not looking for a sub scope, you have a wider array of options than I stated above. Plus you can always get custom turrets made for an existing scope you have. take care

True but I wanted the 1 power as well as the ability to go up to 6 power. The variable feature was the key. Plus doesn't the ACOG cost over a $1000 even when you find the lower price? The cheapest I've seen them selling for is $1200 and some change. This Primary Arms 1-6x24 scope only cost me $269. I did spend another $210 on the Larue LT104 QD mount, but that was my choice. And even with the cost of the mount it is not anywhere near the cost of the ACOG. I'm happy with it. I took the rifle out to the range on Thursday also, and tested it out to 200 yards which is as far as I can go where I shoot. I didn't get tight groups at that distance, but I did hit the target.
