    Fake Eotech

    Hey guys,

Any one have experience with those fake Eotechs? They sell them for airsofts and I've read good reviews and that they actually work on real rifles.

Also, where do you find them? Post your favorite place to find one.

    Thanks

They are okay for small recoil stuff like 22LR, but I would not use it on a shotgun or Kalash. They will drain batteries alot quicker than a Real eotech. They also barely retain any value. A real one would hold some of its value. an Ainpoint is even better at all aspects (battery, quality, value retention)

Airsoftgi or evike has some knockoff ones.

It's going on a Kriss Vector for now. I've seen them for 37 dollars online. I'm not expecting it to be anything special.

Wife wasn't too happy about my Vector buy so I just want something for now until I get something better down the road.

There are plenty of decent red dots these days that run between $100 and $200, and are far less likely to fall apart than some fake eotech garbage. By the time you spend $37 on a fake and have it break, you're already $37 behind on something that would have survived a range trip.

Just run the irons that came with it for now till you can get the 4-700$ together for the red dot it deserves.

I have been trying to sell this one for awhile and I can't figure why it hasn't sold yet.

Pretty sure I have it priced competitively and I also have the box and manual.

                        Thanks for the replies.

Too be honest, I'm not a red dot guy. I run irons on all my rifles. I had Vortex and Primary Arms stuff but sold them all. That's why I really don't want to spend 100 plus cause I'll probably just go back to irons. That's why 37 bucks seemed ok.

Guess I'll have to rethink this. By the way I found an online store, legit, that sells brand new Eotech 512 for 377 shipped.

Buy once and cry once . . . The Chinese crap are not technology copies of the original . . . (like some of their fake stuff is), they are simulated bodies that are made to look the same to take your money.

Some good information here. We've seen quite a few and they are pretty much garbage made to try to fool people. They are no comparison to the "real-deal" and by this time most folks should know that when it comes to optics, you truly get what you pay for!
