While it's a nice compact red dot, there's nothing special about it + the thread is about 7.62x39 scope.

For those that have used scopes with the 762x39 round, have you used more than 4x? I know the round has huge drops at longer distances but if you had to could you get more out of more magnification?

My 7.62x39 AR wears a simple nikon prostaff 2x7-32. Easy to use, light, good optics, and a nice fit for the round's range. Not very tacticool, but you can't have everything

I got an ar in 7.62. Im using a nikon monarch 3-9x40 with bdc reticle. I have my load cards that give theoretical distances on the bdc points.

I believe you mean 2-7x32. 2x7-32 is nonsensical.
