I like the PRI, paired with my MATECH.

I said OVERLY complex for the task. It's not like it takes rocket science to use one. It's just not that fast when using its features.

Engage multiple targets at 100, then another at 600, then another at 200, another at 500 and another at 50. Head to head, a MATECH sighted rifle can be dialed up/down or adjusted for windage much faster than dialing the M16A2.

Then you want the LMT fixed A2 sights. Other than a carry handle, which I feel is best, those LMT sights are tough and don't move.. Because they're fixed.

Hey OP, I made this thread to share some of the Iron sights out there on the market. Might not help much since there is currently no Matech BUIS or the GG&G sights you'd prefer but they do have a few others you might be interested in.

If you were in the military (other vets chime in please), you've been to a basic pop-up target range where you adjust for bullet drop on the fly at varying distances. I have never seen anyone adjust beyond the 300m mark on the MaTech, and I wouldn't be surprised if a drill sergeant kicked in your ACH for doing so.
I was just using the dial up/dial down scenario as an example to discuss the overall comparative speed with which you can adjust the sights, not really talking about the best way to "operate."
