It's only competition is the Vortex Strike eagle that isn't available until August I had one ordered. The main benefit is it's lifetime warranty, but it's also more expensive.

The primary arms is less expensive, has a better reticle, but only 3yr warranty.

Burris Mtac most expensive crap reticle.

        that's my 2 cents.

My primary arms 1x6 will be here tomorrow, not sure when I can go shoot though....

I still like the ability to have super fast target acquisition at low power along with the option of additional magnification when I want to easily shoot out to 300-400 yards. I went with the Burris MTAC 1.5-6x42

Have had good luck using the PA 2.5x out to 400yds

simple to use no fumbling about with nobs and adjustments. Quick sight in and shoot.

My other fav is the Leopold 2.5x Ultralight

Well it arrived yesterday I got it mounted up and so far it looks good. Glass seems more than adequate and the daytime brightness is better than I thought it was gonna be. Hopefully I will get to go shoot it soon.

Took it out today. I like it overall for the money spent. The reticle is not daytime bright at all. But it works fine without the illumination so that's no big deal IMHO. I also had out my Leupold VXII 3x9x40 and you could definitely tell the glass was way clearer and brighter on the leupold. Just thought some folks would like to know that sense that question comes up allot.

I plan on keeping it, to get anything better you are gonna have to spend a couple hundred more.

Try shooting it 400-500-600-700-800yards against anything else out and tell us what happens.

Honestly I probably couldn't hit the broad side of a barn at anything past 400.. I was hitting clays at 150yrds and I was happy I could do that.

I'm not not knocking it in anyway, I would buy it again.

If you can hit a clay at 150 you can hit a 18-30" target at 600
