    Help me decide optic setup.

trying to decide what to put on my new AR. Want to stay close or under $350 total.

Gun will be used for punching paper and steel targets between 100-300yrds and maybe a coyote hunt once in a while.

    I'm considering these currently.

    Vortex crossfire II illuminated vplex

    Primary Arms 1-6 ACSS

Either way I want a QD mount. Burris PEPPR ok? Needs to clear Magpul flip up.

Or should I buy a Vortex Spark and save up for a magnifier?

Any suggestions without close to my budget?

    Help me decide optic setup.

Primary Arms features our own line of AR 15 and AK 47 parts, accessories, scopes, optics and red dot sights.

The ACSS reticle is far superior. AKOU, mrgunsgear, MAC have all done reviews on it.

Actually the reticle is whats holding me back from your product. I don't see the built in range finder doing me any good. I do like how it mimmicks a red dot on 1 power.

I like simple cross hair type reticles and vortex has impressed me on my last 2 purchases.

Primary arms website is out of stock on both vortex 1-4's or I think I would be ordering right now.

I got the Leupold patrolman 1-4 it ran me around 600 but if you go in the marketplace you might find a used one on there. But 100 to 300 yards I'd say go Aimpoint. I have the Leupold on my AR10 only time I use the magnification is if I'm going over 200 yards.

Seems to line up with 5.56 well kind of... But .308 seems like you will be way low.

If your battery dies no CQB for you its way too thin to pic up!
                Here is the standard ACSS

Notice the big horse shoe? Notice the wind holds? They come in really handy. The ACSS was designed here in the US from feed back from combat vets, sniper instructors and LE .The ACSS is going into a TA31 Acog.

And here you go they are here now!

I sent you a PM the other day with few small questions before I ordered your product, while I was waiting for your response I found the strike eagle with the mount for $365 shipped and lifetime warranty.

I watched every video and read 100's of posts about your product. It seems very nice.

Ok I have been flip flopping back and forth for weeks. Im gonna cancel my vortex order tomorrow and order the primary arms 1x6 BUT.... what mount? Is the American defense scout sufficient? Do I need the extended version? Or do I need the recon?

I don't plan on taking the scope off and on at all, just want the ability to do so in emergency. Thanks!
