How does one remove froglube?

Hey all. Jumping off of the froglube wagon and switching to mobil 1 grease... not gonna bash FL, It just isn't for me.... my question is:

Since you essentially bake FL into the gun, how do you get it off? do you just wipe off as much as you can and switch lubes and hope it works itself out? or what? if anyone else has done this, your help is appreciated!

I believe I once spoke to that Froglube vendor on this site about this and he said you can use alcohol. I'm sure brake cleaner would work just as well too.

This. Or something like brake cleaner, acetone, mek, lacquer thinner, etc.

Do it outside and up-wind from the weapon's parts.

Without starting yet another effin' lubrication thread, I think you made an excellent choice.

But seriously, just clean it off with MPro7 and re-oil. Then when you re-clean after the next couple of range outings and re-oil, the Froglube will be gone.
