It's currently on ad until the 27th. Thinking about purchasing, it would be my first safe.
Here is a several page thread.

Good to know, thanks. I am having such a hard time with this, there are so many options and not many websites have very good filters.

            I recommend these 2 places over Turner's....

            www.westcoastsafes.com and www.deansafe.com

I've been to both, and ultimately found what I wanted at Dean Safe.

LoL. I watched as a Cannon Safe got knocked on its back and then pried open in about 2 minutes or less.

I have seen nothing good come from Cannon gun safes or any of those safes they sell at *** pro shops...

I got a 30 gun Cannon Scout from Sams Club online shipped to my house and dropped off in my garage for 800 flat.

Doesnt have a digital lock, but it does have a power outlet, usb, and cat4.

Cannon's warranty is by far the best I have seen out there.

I had it lag bolted down for 75$ and i keep it covered so you cant see it when the garage is open.

Not to mention i have my side door deadbolted, and a big dog also

OK....Im not gunna say that this didnt happen or that it could not have happened but if your gunna say you watched i have questions.

                  1) any idea which canon safe this was? they have several lines and i believe some are made in the USA and some are made in china or maybe mexico now.

                  2) you "watched" a video or you "watched" with your own eyes?

                  3) 2min or less to pry open or 2min or less to pull away from the wall then slam on its back then pry open?

Im sorry but i have seen alot of canon safes and i dont see this happening with even the cheap line. If you had all the right tools and didnt have to worry about anyone hearing or seeing then maybe you could use a bobcat or the jaws of life or one of those chop saws they use to cut a car in half. Short of those circumstances i just dont see it.

If this was part of some professional robbery and you had all the right tools please feel free to put me in my place. If that is the case please share with the class what you used.

How would they be able to knock it on it's back if it's bolted to the floor?

I would advise you to avoid at all costs. I got flamed hardcore in anther flame for calling these our right POs safes. But they are, sorry having welds break that hold the bolt work together is non excusable. Having the metal skin on the doors flex when you push on it non excusable. Not being able to mount a lock on the safe is non excusable The safes sold to big box stores are all pretty close to being POS. There are some jem finds out there sometimes in Liberty and Cannons being sold through lowes, home depot etc.

Amsec. The TF series of safes can typically be found between about 670-1000. We had the TF5517 in our shop for $640(retail is 800ish) I have a TF5924 on the floor for about $900. But, i just got an email from my sales rep that Amsec and another price increase.

When shopping look at the features and the construction of the safe over brand names.
Look for a PLATE DOOR(normally they will be 3/16, 1/4 etc etc), ok ya you may find a safe that says a massive X" door. well typically that door will only have about >1/18 of actual metal on the door with fire material in between. Look at the bolt work. Is three way bolt work? or just one way bolt work. Try and find one that has Three way bolt work, because that will lock the door on all 4 sides(the side with the hinge will have deadbolts on it normally). Look at the construction of the body, 8 gauge 10 gauge, 12 gauge? lower the number the better. Also the fire rating on it. There should always have 2 numbers Time and Temperature. Look at exatly what the times are listed and temperature and compare that to others. Those are basic info for safes to look for when shopping around.

Amsec, Fort Knox, Cannon, Liberty, Gardall are all safes that i have dealt with directly in sales and service that i know are quality.

well ya that was probably the model of safe they sell to big box stores. Which is why i try to have people avoid them at all costs. I dont remember the model number of the safe but it was their most in expensive model if i remember.

After a bit of digging, I found one that works for me in price/size.
I am a little confused though, the description says it comes with anchoring holes, but the table says no. I would call and ask beforehand to make sure, but, that is kind of strange.
Does anyone have any opinions on this safe or brand?

Just had my Bighorn 19ECB Costco special delivered last night.

This is PERFECT for current secured storage needs. My only complaint is the "24 Gun" rack system is useful for maybe 12 long guns...if the split shelves are not installed.

Price was right, service was OK, and now I have some piece of mind (beats locked cases under the bed!
