    My Thoughts: Radian Ramjet

Nothing new here as these have been out for awhile and have gained a lot of market share.

Just wanted to share my Top 3 Reasons why I won't be removing the Radian Ramjet/Afterburner from my 19.

Will be adding one for my 43 as soon as they launch!

For me I've found a G17 has less recoil, be more reliable than a comped 19, and hold more rounds in a stock mag (pre ban of course),
    Can DI AR's run dirty?

G17 doesn't have less recoil than a comped G19, at least not compared to the Ramjet. I don't have a ton of rounds through it yet, 600 so far with 4 types of ammo and zero issues. Will keep testing it, likely going to the range today to shoot a couple hundred more. Not sure if you know, but you can also use the G17 mag in the G19

Try and shoot both at the same time the 17 has less recoil. IIRC TRex Arms did a review as well as other YT slow motion vids showing the difference. A keyword here: "stock" preban mag will hold more rounds. Also being the same price as a G19 you can save yourself @ 400.00 for no added difference in recoil reduction. Also you're losing velocity running a ramjet vs a longer barreled G17. For me IMHO there is no benefit to spend more and get less.

I own and shoot many different Glocks including the 17 with and without a comp, 34, 19 with and without a comp. I compare them every single time I hit the range, static or on the move. The 19 with Ramjet absolutely gets back on target quicker than a 17 without a comp for me, that's more important than what anyone else says whether you or a well known youtuber. I'd even say the 19 with ramjet has less muzzle flip in my hands than the 34. YMMV. I'd imagine this would more so be dependant on the size of your hands. The 19 is a perfect fit for my hands, I wear size Large gloves. I'd imagine those with XL or larger hands would favor the 17. You also know that these types of videos can easily be skewed by changing your grip, firming or relaxing your grip etc. Not saying that's what he's doing, but it is a potential factor.

The velocity difference between the 17 & 19 is negligible with most ammo coming in at about 50 fps that's not enough to significantly increase barrier penetration or HP expansion and not in consideration for me in this debate. Plus, for myself and most folks, the 19 is easier to conceal, which is another important factor.
